Everything here is borrowed from the school of can and race livery: a brushed metal ground, diagonal bands in blue, red and white, a yellow disc standing in for a sun, and headlines in italic condensed caps leaning the way the bands lean. Strict symmetry does the rest, with two mirrored shapes framing the product like a crest. What holds the palette together is the product itself: dense pressed leaf photographs almost black against silver, so the darkest thing on the page is also the thing for sale. Surfaces stay flat and unshaded, which keeps the shop a graphic rather than a stunt. The picture shouts, the copy does not. Nothing here promises you energy.
